Music Director · PERFORMER · teaching artist
Whether conducting a show, musically directing a cabaret, or playing a solo piano concert, musical theatre has always been my home.
In New York, my credits include The Irish...and How They Got That Way, The Threepenny Opera, and several years as a rehearsal accompanist for Broadway Backwards. Concert performances include Camelot, and Oliver (on Broadway), and Jim Henson’s Musical World, and The Wizard and I: The Musical Journey of Stephen Schwartz (at Carnegie Hall).
On the road, I toured with Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus as a keyboard player, and was in the pit or conducting the national tours of Footloose, All Shook Up, and The Wedding Singer.
As a teaching artist, I have had the incredible opportunity to teach thousands of students both at home and abroad, with considerable time spent giving workshops in Africa and Asia.
